The Harry Blaine series of stories focuses on a San Francisco beat cop who also happens to be a parahuman. He's super-strong, resistant to damage, and has no interest in putting on a costume to go after the bad guys. I wrote these stories between 2002 and 2008. Two of them - "Tuesday Night at Powerman's" and "Young Guns" were in the top eleven finalists for the 2003 James White Award.
