"Yes, do."

It's Monday night, and the first chance today I've had to update you all with my week in review.  I spent a lot of this week thinking about Champion, plotting, making notes, etc., until I was unbelievably bogged down.  Finally, in a fit of desperation, I turned to my best friend/editor/confidant/muse and told her perhaps I was overthinking things since I don't habitually do this much planning to start a book and wondered if maybe I should just go ahead and start.  Her response: "Yes, do."

So I've officially started Champion.  I plan to have a completed draft by the end of April, but we all know how those plans go.  I'm not quite ready to share any excerpts yet, but I will probably post some soon.

I should have Pariah's Moon ready to submit by this weekend, and I already have one beta reader reporting she's done tearing through Blood on the Ice.  Here's hoping it's not too rough...but it is a NaNobook, and I don't have any illusions that it will need more work than something I didn't dash off in 30 days.

Finally, I will have a special announcement to make soon.  I can't share it yet, but it's directly related to my writing career and I think it's definitely a positive thing, so stand by for good news.
