Special End-of-the-Decade Edition!
Yes, I know, it's after 9 PM and I'm just now getting around to my Monday morning quarterbacking. Well, it's been a busy day, and I've got a lot to say, so here goes...
What a decade this has been! Millions of people have written teratobytes about it, and I want to recognize some of the great things that have happened to me over the past ten years.

I'm on vacation!
That is to say, I'm on vacation from my day job this week. I'm still working on my writing projects. Yesterday was spent getting three weeks' worth of webcomics back into the buffer (important since I wasa going to run out this morning!). Beginning today, I will be working on The Further Revisions of Pariah's Moon.
Super Guest Star Saturday 12/19/09: DeAnna Knippling
Yes, I'm late getting this one online. I'm on vacation. Sue me. :D
This will be the final Super Guest Star Saturday of 2009. I'm taking a couple weeks off, but the SGSS series will be back in 2010. If you would like to contribute an article, or know someone who would, please contact me using the form in the sidebar, because I think I'll run out of backlogged articles before the end of February.
Wacky Wednesday, 12/16/09
Today's Wacky Wednesday is Twitter feed. The user FakeAPStyleBook is simply hilarious if you're a writer. Here are some examples:

Not much to report this week, except that I finished a little tale called Blood on the Ice. Yep, the first draft is completed! I know I'm supposed to leave it sit for a few weeks before revising it, but I have a hankering to reformat a little and take out some of the thousand-odd adverbs I used (I'm bad about using adverbs when I'm writing hell-bent for leather).
Compensate me, animate me, complicate me, elevate me

I finished the first draft of Blood on the Ice just a few minutes ago. I have uploaded the final fifty pages to the Members Only section. If you want to read it, as well as the rest of the draft, you must register as a member--it's free, easy, and will enrich your life in ways as yet unimagined.
Super Guest Star Saturday 12/12/09: Karen Wester Newton
I met Karen Wester Newton online via blogging. She writes speculative fiction and blogs an awful lot about eBooks and the devices that are designed to read them. When I asked her if she'd write a primer on the eBook reader industry, she jumped at the chance.

And all the ladies rolled their eyes
The ABNA 2010 competition was announced today. I participated in the '08 and '09 versions. I will not be participating in this one for several reasons.
If you don't know what ABNA is, you can read about it here.

I want to recognize fellow webcomic author Chris Doyle and his Reasonably Clever Webcomic, which has been running nearly as long as my own Adventures of the S-Team. Consistently excellent set pieces, storylines, and general wackiness make RC a good addition to any daily reader.

Sometimes I fight against the darkness
It's been awhile since I posted an excerpt from Blood on the Ice, so here's another to whet your appetites:
