Super Guest Star Saturday: Becky Clark
Becky is a real character both online and in person. I know her through the Pikes Peak Writers, and at this year's conference she was quite possibly the loudest person at my table during the Saturday night banquet - even more so than the Sheriff of Creeville (an inside joke only a few folks will get). I asked if she'd write me something and this is what we got.

I've met Kirk Farber a few times through the Pikes Peak Writers, most recently when I swung down to Colorado Springs for a PPW-sponsored NaNoWriMo write-in where I broke the 50,000-word barrier on Blood on the Ice. His book, Postcards from a Dead Girl just came out and he's been touring to promote it. I know nothing about that kind of activity, and asked if he might take a little time from his busy schedule to talk about it here.

I went to high school with Vanitha. Thanks to Facebook, we're back in touch again, and imagine my surprise to learn that she has since become an outstanding writer whose debut novel was JUST RELEASED this past week! Congrats to you, Vanitha! It's always a pleasure to see someone's hard work come to fruition. I asked if she had time to put together a guest post for me, and she was happy to oblige in this tale of how a manuscript became a published novel.

Claudia Christian is someone who I'm surprised I haven't met in person yet, considering we live in the same town. Super Guest Star Saturday 3/6/10: Susannah Taylor
Agent Susannah Taylor was the first agent ever to request a full from me. Although ultimately she rejected my work, she and I have stayed in touch over the years and, until I signed with another agency, I always gave her first crack at my stuff. She's been supportive of my career when she had no real reason to do so, and answered my questions when I asked them, and for that I'm grateful.
