Comics are full of unusual and unexpected familial relationships. The television show Heroes has taken that to heart, and I figured I’d better start exploring some of the complex relationships between my own characters. So yes, Dr. Heather is Science Guy’s sister, and she’s now dating Tortoise, whom Science Guy would undoubtedly like to question concerning the whereabouts of his Cave Racer.
And I hope much hilarity will ensue.
Poor Tortoise. I’ve had this joke saved up for a really long time. I was just getting so much mileage out of the “this is really heavy” bit that I couldn’t bear to make his life any easier.
Anyone who’s dealt with an American health insurance company will agree they’re far more devious and evil than any supervillain organization could ever hope to be.
