The Adventures of the S-Team!

There are a few things of note in this strip. First off, notice the funky special effects? Those were done entirely with the basic Microsoft Paint that comes on every computer. The “Beam up” effect was done through my Print Shop software. Notice the name of the ship? Risenpeter is an anagram for Enterprise. I thought it would be humorous to poke fun at Trekkies, since some of them get so uppity about it. Finally we have Sandstorm’s reference to the previous strip. Once again a character breaks the fourth wall to note that they are well aware they are in a webcomic.

There’s an old Mafia saying to the effect of: “Let the man speak; when he has finished, let him speak some more.”

Give someone enough rope and eventually he will hang himself with it. Slick is about to hang himself apparently.

Yes, Stonewall made the same joke two weeks ago. And it was just as bad then, too. No wonder Slick is getting monitor duty. Kind of makes you wonder what’s in store for #200, doesn’t it?
